MUSKEGON RIVER WATERSHED ASSEMBLY INVITES YOU ON A TOUR AND RIVER RESTORATION UPDATE
Featuring Tamarack Creek—a valued sub basin of the Muskegon River

5:30 pm visit Artman Park
6:00 pm meet at the Whitefish Lake Golf and Grill Club, 2241 Bass Lake Road in Pierson. – Refreshments
The one hour program will begin at 6:00 pm with hors d’oeurves and beverages followed by an update on several of the projects and programs that have kept us busy this year. Prior to the meeting in Pierson, MRWA project manager Dixie Ward will take the lead on two project site visits to study examples of the restoration work we have done in the Tamarack Creek watershed. Please join us if you want to learn how our efforts in a relatively small stream can have a positive impact on the watershed as a whole.

Your September 12, Tour and Program Directions
1st Stop: Minnie Farmer Park in the Village of Howard City. Plan to arrive at 5:00 pm. Minnie Farmer Park is at the intersection of Orton and Hazel St.
2nd stop: 5:30 pm we will caravan to Artman Park a mile west of Howard City. Artman Park is just off US—131, at exit 118 on the corner of Army School Road and M-82..
Final Stop: 6:00-7:00 pm Join us for refreshments and a program at Whitefish Lake Golf and Grill Club, in the Loons Nest Banquet Center 2241 Bass Lake Road, Pierson, MI 49339
